About the CCAM

Evergreen has committed itself to providing students with the fundamental tools they need to succeed. To meet this commitment, the college has launched a campaign to establish the new Center for Creative & Applied Media (CCAM).

As the media technology hub of the college, the center will allow us to significantly advance the media capabilities students increasingly require from a 21st century education.

When the Center for Creative & Applied Media comes to life, it will be a legacy to the next generation of creators, problem solvers, and educated citizens who will lead our community and society.

Facility

We are raising funds to fully equip the center with a soundstage, multi-camera HD video studio, cable and Internet broadcasting facility, workshop space, surround-audio recording and mixing suite, and experimental-effects lab.

Media Literacy

In a world shaped by bits and bytes, basic literacy means the ability to read, write and understand how digital media works. Command of the critical and technical skills needed to navigate in our media-driven culture, thrive in the workplace, and become engaged citizens and astute consumers is more important than ever.
